Sorry for the delay in publishing this post guys...
And sorry Blog ji for ignoring you again!! :P

Half of you are already aware of what i am going to blog today..Never mind ;-)
No harm in improving your reading comprehension speeds :D

---------------------------------

The voice on the other side said Hello.

"Hi! Is everything set?", I enquired

"Yes, Be ready in 3 mins. Its almost 12..We are going to reach home", Kiran said in almost a whisper

Panic!!! Panic!!! Oh No..Panicccc...Only 3 mins!!! Dang...
The cake wasn't ready...the balloons were not blown...the decoration was not completely done..

Potti..me and grandmom ...we were running all over the place...trying to do as much as possible...as soon as possible...

They reached home!!!! 3 mins were over in 30 secs ( Are you crazy?? I ain't joking!!! )
Friends, all eagerly waiting inside the house, pounced on him with huuugeee screams as soon as he opened the door...
After few exclaimations, chuckles and giggles, it was the time for cake cutting...(Yeah, Its his Birthday)..

We were still not ready...One struggling with the balloons, other struggling with the laptop and the last one(Grand mom) struggling to understand what was happening :P

Laptop?? You might question!! Well, i missed the most important point..He was in his house in US and I am in India at my place.

The idea was to celebrate his birthday in a unique way, with surprise Birthday Parties in both the places at the same time (One in US at his place with all his frenz thr and the other in India at my place :D ). I took a day off  work, called one of my closeseshht (don't search the exsistence of this word in the dictionary) friend to help me out.

Thanks to his friends and roomies for making this happen in US. Special thanks to Kiran for the help and loads of thankies to Smitha for putting up soo much effort in decorating the house.SmileThe Balloon Bouquet which was home delivered was right on time.. :-) I like online gift sites :P..
Thanks to technology and thanks to Webcam :-) But definitely no thanks to my laptop. It screwed the entire plan at the right moment. It got stuck!! :-( ( You can Relax now, i am done with my thank Q??s ) :D

Because of this stupid  technicality issue, the cake cutting ceremony in India got delayed by almost 10 mins.

Balloons floated, candles were lighted....the cake was ready. Then came the hero with a surprised look on his face trying to understand what was happening on the other end... :-)
The magical part was, he blew in the cam and the candles here were put off.:O Can you believe it? Tongue
(Made me remember the jigi jikka jikka majnoo guy in the mentos ad :P  hehehehe..Don't kick me chintu..Ouccchh it hurts!! :P )

Then came the best part :-) Yours sat on her knees and proposed him for the marraige. I opened the box, took the ring out, showed it to him on the webcam with flashing teeth and then said "Will you marry me?". Guess what he replied. He said,"That's my line"..Smile
Hmm after a small lovey dovey talk on the phone, i let him have fun with his friends :-)

Mom joined the celebrations a little later. Three of us went for lunch outside and talked a loot over the lunch :-)

I searched billion sites to check for the online shopping of the ring. I wanted that to be delivered to him. But tough luck..1. I din't like any of the rings in the US online shopping sites. 2. They wanted a week's time to ship the order.
Thanks to my freinds Gopi and Srikar who had to spend sleepless nights searching for the rings :D and who took pains to actually go to the jewelry shops in US personally and check them out.Smile

All in all, another special day :-) Nothing can beat the delight on his face :-) You looked absolutely adorable chintu with the chocolate cake painted on yer face :D
